In most cases you can’t determine where inspiration comes from but when it randomly arrives it’s best to embrace it and run with it. Watching Adventure Time one day I realized the illustration style would look great as beer can designs. I illustrated the main characters and added some fun typography to create a simple, colorful series that I wish wasn’t just a concept but thankfully when it comes to graphic design the most fun aspect of it is breathing life into random ideas to see if they work. Experimenting and trying new things can lead to best sort of projects and you never know what that could lead to.
